Week 26

MOM!!

It doesn't surprise me that all the Moms loved what you did. You have such an amazing gift! Thank you for the small package! I love reading about my fellow members up in Antarctica :) You look soooo pretty in the pics with Stevo! Thank you so much for everything you do Mom, I love you soooo much more then you realize!!

So Im getting transferred tomorrow. Im happy and sad. I love this area and the people here so much but im excited to see what else my mission has in store for me! Im really stressing out though about all the change thats going to happen. I dont know why, but i always psych myself out about things and get all worked up. That is something im learning to deal with on my mission for sure!

So this week one of our investigators got baptized!! It was so amazing! He was found about a year ago and was constantly getting picked back up, and then dropped, and so right before Elder Hemsley left he said, "You should probably just drop him, he knows he needs to be baptized but just wont commit" I somewhat agreed but the spirit told me to continue to stop by and work with him. About a month later he told us he was ready to be baptized so we set it all up and I was able to confirm him a member and give him the Holy Ghost yesterday which was sweet!!!

Im just so happy right now. I am stressing out though about having to learn a whole new area and all the members and things like that. I dont know why i work myself up so much inside but it stinks! haha I'll get over it though! Thank you again for everything you do mom! I look up to you sooo stinkin much! Erin is always is telling me how much she loves you and the rest of the fam. Thank you for being so supportive and willing to help me out and send me things that I need! I hope you have an amazing week!

Week 25

Mom! This week was pretty good! We were able to teach a lot and picked up some new investigators which is awesome!!! On Tuesday I prayed that we would be able to find a new investigator that day to start teaching. About two hours later one of our former investigators called us and told us he wanted us to start coming back over to teach him which is sweet!!! It was so awesome :) He made it to church and loved it as well which is great!
Transfers are next week and I have a feeling im leaving, but I also have a feeling im staying... haha kinda mixed emotions going on right now :) This past week Elder Husbands and I learned from one of our investigators how to make fat ties into skinny ones!! Haha so we just each bought like 10 ties from the thrift store that we are gonna skinny up :) Me and Elder Husbands are getting a long really well now! I would love to stay with him for one more transfer but idk if that will happen. I am just so happy right now its crazy !!:)
EXCEPT for one thing.... Last monday we got back home early and i was just kicking the soccer ball around in the living room. I made a goal out of all the boxes i have from all the packages you sent me so i was just toying around. Well next thing you know me and Elder Husbands have a full on game goin and within 1 minute I kicked the ball strait through our window..... I was ticked.... It ruined the rest of my P-Day.... I wrote you a letter about it and sent you money for the damage. Other than that though it was a great week!!
I’m sorry your week didn’t go super well but its ok, in the end, sports don’t matter at all. I know that our family loves sports and winning brings us happiness, but as long as our testimony of our Savior is stronger then it was the day before, then it was a great day!:) Love you guys so much!! Keep me posted on how everything is going! Weeks are just blurring together lately... its weird haha LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCHHHHHH

Week 24

Haha Tanner is so funny!! I love that kid to death! So thank you for the package and the pics! I loved every single one of them! I showed my comp the pic of Tanner at the BYU thing and he said "Daaaanggg! Hes looking dope!" haha so tell him he looked fly as ever! (Elder Smith in the district says Hello btw. He's sitting right next to me haha)

I forgot to tell dad how i feel about possibly getting transferred so here ya go. I feel good and bad. I think I might stay one more for some reason but if i do leave i wont be super upset. I love this area to death but im ready to see more of Florida and meet even more people! The ward here is so amazing though so it will be tough in that aspect. But im sure every ward is pretty great!

So me and my comp had a good talk and this week was much better! We are getting along really well and teaching a lot. We had President interviews this week and so all during District meeting elders and sisters would get pulled out to go talk with him. Well some senior couples were there and after the meeting one of them said "You are a great leader, you are very mature for you age, I can see you now as a Bishop or Elders Quorum President" I just smiled and said Idk about that, but thank you, I appreciate it. Im not gonna lie, it made me feel really good inside knowing that someone felt like I was doing a good job. You know how self critical I am of myself at times, so hearing that made me feel better about myself :)

All the district also met the goal of getting two return appointments from 10 formers or potentials which was awesome too! Every Key indicator went up and the district is on FIRE right now :) The Zone Leaders were super pumped! The Lord is blessing us soooo much right now its crazy!

My hand is completely fine! Nothing is wrong with it. It healed right up which is good news :) I am sooo happy right now its crazy! One of our investigators is really excited to be baptized in a couple weeks! He is super pumped to be able to go to the temple and do baptisms for the dead which is awesome! Seeing the change in him has been so amazing. It makes my heart just want to burst because of how much I love the guy. Thank you for all the support and love Mom. Keep me posted on how everything else at home goes. Updates don’t really distract me from the work so you dont need to worry about that :) Love you

Week 23

MOM!!

This past week was great! There have been a lot of miracles this past week. We were on a street stopping by on some Potentials and out of nowhere this black kid comes up to us and asks if he could borrow our phone. We allowed it and then started to talk to him. Turns out he is one of our Less actives adopted sons who met with the missionaries in the past but was still wanting to party and stuff. He now wants to settle down and know the truth he says! We have been teaching him this last week and he is doing well. Things like that seem to happen everyday! Haha its so amazing.We also saw a guy in Save alot who was looking at us like he knew us. We went and talked to him and he told us he was very inactive but that his family attended the Clermont ward. We told him "Great! You can start attending again with us this next week!" He said he would try and we went on our way. Well guess what?? He showed up! haha his family was very happy to see him and so was the rest of the ward! It was awesome!

That sounds like a great week for you guys too then!! So thank you very much for that package of laundry stuff and food!! Haha i love getting packages from you guys!! It helps me throughout the whole week!

So how is your photography going? Have you been doing a lot of shoots lately? I met a guy at a less actives family this last week who is from Utah. I gave him our address and he's going to go and take a pic in front of the the house and send it to me :) So if you see a random guy taking a selfie in front of our house don't be weirded out :)

Over all this week was amazing!! I Love you guys all so much! Thank you for everything you do for me! 2015 is going to be one of the best years of my life... Im sure of it! You're the best mom. I love you soooo much!!
